- Answers, evaluates, and prioritizes requests from associates having questions or experiencing problems with a service or products
- Onsite and remote work at store locations and home office as it relates to POS systems and workstation deployments, networking and technical repairs, operating system failures desktop levels, and complete technical documentation per protocols
- Keeps up with new technologies, industry certifications, and continuous training
- 24/7 After hours' support with a 1 week a month minimum and on-call duty when assigned
- Strong logical step-by-step based problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel to store locations as needed
- Demonstrates strong listening skills to interpret and address a store or associate request
- Must be resourceful and be able to take initiative in a dynamic environment
- Strong written & oral communication skills
- Willing to gain certification on Proven IT products. software and hardware systems
- Must be self-motivated
- CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, or 3+ years recent computer, server, and network troubleshooting experience
- POS systems in the restaurant/hospitality industry
- Knowledge of PC/server hardware and software
- Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Office 365 user account management
- Windows 10 Workstation setup and installation
- Windows Server 2019 and 2022
- Understanding of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, and VPN technologies
- Understanding of networking devices such as routers, firewalls, switches, wireless access points, and other networking equipment
